Hire Fitter- Lucan

Are you a skilled fitter with hands on experience in the plant and tool hire industry? This is a fantastic opportunity to join Ireland's leading builders' merchant group in a permanent, full time role based in Lucan, Co. Dublin close to major road networks and offering an excellent work life balance with a Monday to Friday schedule.

Role Overview

As Hire Fitter, you will be at the heart of a busy and well established hire department, taking ownership of the maintenance, servicing, and repair of a diverse fleet of plant and tool equipment. You will play a key role in ensuring customers receive equipment that is safe, reliable, and ready to perform on site - while building real expertise across a broad range of machinery.

Monday - Friday

What You'll Be Doing

You will be responsible for the maintenance and servicing of a wide range of equipment, including:

Large Plant Small Plant

• Cement Mixers
• Concrete Power Floats
• Plate Compactors
• Poker Vibrators

Electrical & Engine Tools

Your day to day responsibilities will also include:

• Carrying out PAT testing and fleet readiness checks
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised hire workshop
• Supporting customer sales and delivering expert equipment demonstrations
• Upholding health & safety standards across all activities
• Assisting with the day to day running of the hire department

What We're Looking For

• Solid experience in the plant and tool hire industry
• Proven mechanical/fitter capabilities across a range of plant and tools
• A proactive, safety conscious approach to your work
• Good communication skills and a customer first attitude
