The Hive is a mental health and wellbeing service designed for and created by young people. We support young people aged 16 to 24 in Camden who need support transitioning between children's and adult mental health services. The service is led by Catch 22 (see below) but provided jointly by Catch 22, The Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust and Camden and Islington Mental Health Trust. The Hive's one stop shop model offers,
- A social hub drop-in with a range of activities and workshops available Monday to Friday
- 1:1 mental health and emotional wellbeing support
- A free sexual health drop-in clinic(for anyone aged 13-24)
- Employment, apprenticeships and career development
- Signposting to external services and providers
The post holder will hold a complex caseload, undertaking a range of clinical assessments and offering highly skilled treatments or therapies that are outcome focused and evidence based, using appropriate therapeutic modalities. You will review cases where patients have impasses, complaints or disputes with their clinical care.
You will provide consultation to external agencies such as GPs/schools/Local authorities and expert consultation and specialist psychological advice to other staff and agencies outside the Trust.
The post holder will communicate complex information in a highly skilled and sensitive manner, at times dealing with service users who may be hostile or present challenging behaviours.

Person Specification Highly Specialist Clinician- Degree level as a minimum plus developed specialist and practical knowledge equating to postgraduate degree/ Masters level
- Registration with HCPC or relevant body as a Clinical Psychologist, Educational Psychologist, Counselling Psychologist, Social Worker, Nurse, Psychotherapist, or Systemic Therapist
- Evidence of clinical experience working with client population
- A clear track record of managing complexity and risk whilst maintaining high standards of service delivery
- Skills for assessing and communicating complex client conditions and applying appropriate clinical treatments
- Ability to manage own clinical case load
- High level of skill and knowledge in safeguarding and risk management
- Demonstrate equality, diversity and inclusion awareness and application of EDI issues
- Some experience of clinical management of staff
- Some experience of involvement in project work e.g. quality improvement
