Salary: JG6 SCP19-23 FTE £32,061.00 - £34,434.00 (Actual Salary: £24,735.93 - £26,566.76)

Job OverviewWe are a large, multicultural and multi faith Church of England Primary Academy in Easton, within the city of Bristol and part of the Lighthouse Schools Partnership (LSP). This role is an exciting opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to be part of a friendly, talented team in our Resource Base (The Meadow) dedicated to improving outcomes for children.
Responsibilities and Requirements- Strong communicator, good team player and interested in innovative approaches to learning and teaching.
- Understanding of the needs of children with Autism Spectrum Condition.
- Experience of a range of ways of communicating with children who are non verbal or in early stages of language development.
- Experience of planning and delivering learning activities.
- Uncompromising high expectations of themselves and all children, and ability to engage children in fun and interesting ways.
- Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding.
- Understanding of behavioural needs of children with ASC and ability to adapt and deliver support to meet individual needs.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Positive 'can do' attitude and nurturing nature.
- Level 2 qualifications or equivalent.

The MeadowThe Meadow is a Resource Base supporting 12 pupils ranging from Year 1 to Year 3 who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for a primary need of Autism or Speech Language and Communication. Our priority is to ensure pupils receive a broad, balanced and rewarding curriculum.
The TrustThe Lighthouse Schools Partnership (LSP) is a Multi Academy Trust with 34 schools across the region, including Infant, Junior, Primary and Secondary schools.
