Location and Pay

Location: Ealing, London

Pay: £125-£145 per day (salary dependent on experience and qualifications)

Job Type: Full Time Long Term Temporary

Start Date: July 2026

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons during teacher absence and PPA cover.
• Lead small-group and 1:1 interventions in literacy, numeracy and other curriculum areas.
• Support pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and speech & language needs.
• Promote positive behaviour and create an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers, SEN staff and senior leaders to raise pupil achievement.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.

Requirements

• Experience working as a HLTA or an experienced Teaching Assistant within a UK Primary School.
• Confidence leading whole-class learning across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2.
• Experience supporting children with SEND and delivering targeted interventions.
• Strong behaviour management and excellent communication skills.
• A proactive, adaptable approach with a genuine passion for education.
• HLTA qualification is desirable, although applicants with significant classroom experience will also be considered.
