Overview

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Contract Type: Full time (35.75 hours) and Fixed-term (1.9.26 to 31.8.27), with possibility of permanent position afterwards

Responsible to: Assistant Headteacher / SENDCO

Salary: In line with local authority HLTA scale: Band I

  • Support the delivery of excellent provision for all pupils and lead learning in classes.

  • Take initiative and demonstrate strong classroom practice.
  • Support high expectations and contribute to a culture where pupils thrive academically and personally.
