Job Description

Confident Communicator? Great with young people? Looking for flexible, rewarding work? Location: Hounslow, West London. Pay: £100 £125 per day depending on experience level. Start: immediate - flexible timetable.

We're looking for a confident, adaptable individual with experience in public speaking or working with young people to join a welcoming secondary school as a member of their ad hoc cover team. Behaviour is generally very good and you will be working in a happy and purposeful environment.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) / Cover Supervisor

What You'll Do
  • Lead learning for students aged (up to 25 per class)
  • Create a positive, focused learning atmosphere
  • Manage behaviour confidently and respectfully
  • Support students' learning with initiative and energy
Who This Role Suits

We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds - whether you're a youth worker, actor, coach, presenter, or already working in education. You'll thrive if you have:

  • Confidence in leading and managing groups
  • Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience in teaching, training, coaching or similar
  • A subject specialism (a plus, not a requirement)

Prior experience as a Cover Supervisor or HLTA is helpful, but not essential. What matters most is your ability to connect with young people and lead a classroom.
