Higher Level Teaching Assistant - Primary

Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a real impact in a supportive Birmingham primary school? Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a confident and proactive HLTA to join one of our fantastic partner schools, helping to deliver high-quality learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

As the HLTA, you will:

• Lead whole-class teaching during teacher PPA, absence, or intervention blocks
• Run small-group and 1:1 targeted interventions to boost progress in key learning areas
• Support behaviour, engagement and positive learning routines
• Work closely with class teachers, SENDCo and leadership to deliver excellent provision
• Contribute to planning and assessment where appropriate
• Bring energy, flexibility, and a passion for helping children thrive

To be successful, you will need:

• HLTA status (essential)
• Experience delivering lessons or interventions in a primary setting
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• A positive, team-focused attitude
• A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
