Higher Executive Officer
Location: 23 Stephenson Street, Birmingham, B2 4BH
Hybrid - 60% OFFICE BASED 40% WFH
Pay: £19.31 per hr
Working Days/Hours: Monday to Friday, 37 hrs per week - some flexibility around start and finish times but working between 10:00-16:00
Brook Street in partnership with the Home Office has a fantastic opportunity to join their team as a Higher Executive Officer.
Responsibilities- Liaising with colleagues in the wider organisation to understand the latest delivery position and updating existing planning tools (SharePoint and Excel based) to accurately show the latest status.
- Overseeing the issuing of contracts via a separate team for Associate workers, in line with agreed processes.
- Managing specific processes relating to the administration of the Associate scheme - these may include onboarding and offboarding, communications, pay and query management - ensuring compliance with established policy, processes and effective use of tools on MS Excel and MS forms.
- Monitoring travel and accommodation bookings made by junior staff, ensuring alignment with policy and operational requirements and leading on more complex requests.
- Supporting on ad hoc tasks or projects within OPC and the wider Corporate Portfolio Directorate if required.

No annual leave during training period - 4/6 weeks
Clearance level (to be applied for by Brook Street upon a successful application)CTC + Basic DBS
Role specific requirementsYou must hold a valid passport and must have lived in the UK for longer than 3 years. Please note that a period of 6 months or longer spent outside of the UK in the last 3 years will unfortunately not be accepted. This role requires security clearance that will be processed for you, if successful.
