- Varied role working on both HGV and LCV fleets
- Standard Monday to Friday working hours, 45 hours per week
- Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and LCVs
- Prepare vehicles for MOT testing, including presenting vehicles and ensuring compliance
- Complete scheduled safety inspections and routine servicing tasks
- Diagnose faults using modern workshop diagnostic equipment
- Perform mechanical and cosmetic repairs as required
- Handle warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines
- Replace and fit vehicle components efficiently and safely
- Provide breakdown support when necessary
- Maintain accurate workshop records and ensure compliance with safety and DVSA standards
- Proven experience working on HGVs within a commercial vehicle environment
- Experience working on LCVs is advantageous
- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds Commercial Vehicle or equivalent preferred
- HGV licence is beneficial but not essential
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Hardworking, reliable, and organised approach to work
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop setting
