  • Standard Monday to Friday working hours, 45 hours per week
Duties
  • Conduct servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and LCVs
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT testing, including presenting vehicles and ensuring compliance
  • Complete scheduled safety inspections and routine servicing tasks
  • Diagnose faults using modern workshop diagnostic equipment
  • Perform mechanical and cosmetic repairs as required
  • Handle warranty repairs following manufacturer guidelines
  • Replace and fit vehicle components efficiently and safely
  • Provide breakdown support when necessary
  • Maintain accurate workshop records and ensure compliance with safety and DVSA standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience working on HGVs within a commercial vehicle environment
  • Experience working on LCVs is advantageous
  • Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds Commercial Vehicle or equivalent preferred
  • HGV licence is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Hardworking, reliable, and organised approach to work
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
  • Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop setting
