HGV Tanker Driver

About the Role

We are looking for HGV Class 1 drivers to work on a full time basis for days on our wastewater contract. Driving a vacuum tanker, the work incorporates tankering various non hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the regions. You will be provided with a phone and an app to outline the jobs that have been assigned to you by the Operations Supervisor.

Due to the nature of the role, a full HGV Class 1 UK drivers licence with CPC and an up to date digi tachograph card are required.

Hours and Salary

Monday - Friday, 50 hours per week, 6am - 4pm.

Salary: £18 per hour.

Responsibilities (not limited to)

• Operate HGV mounted vacuum and tankers for drainage and waste management tasks.
• Independently manage job sites, ensuring safe practices and high quality work.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Accurately complete job reports and system updates.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any faults promptly.
• Maintain high health and safety standards, including proper PPE use and regulatory compliance.

Experience and Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 driving licence.
• Valid CPC and up to date tachograph card.
