HGV Drivers

HGV Drivers are sought by a prestigious client through Pertemps Stoke on Trent, with positions based in Stoke-on-Trent. This temporary contract offers both full-time and part-time hours, paying £17.70 to £26.55 per hour depending on shift start times between 0200 and 2200, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday overtime. Responsibilities include operating boxed heavy goods vehicles, handling up to three drops daily, and performing handball duties alongside collections of pallets, totes, and boxes. Deliveries span stores and distribution centres nationwide, with trunking routes available. Applicants need a CE entitlement, Digi Card, CPC qualification, and a full UK driving licence with no more than six points.

HGV Drivers Our prestigious client is looking for a HGV / LGV1 / C+E/ Class 1 Drivers to work at their site in Stoke on Trent Responsibilities

• Driving mainly a boxed heavy goods vehicle (Single and double deckers)
• Up to 3 drops per day plus occasional collections of pallets, totes, boxes etc
• Handball involved
• Delivering to stores and DCs nationwide
• Trunking and Store Deliveries available

To be considered for this HGV / LGV1 / C+E/ Class 1 Driver role you will need:

• CE Entitlement
• Digi Card & CPC
• Full UK Driving Licence
• No more than 6 points

• Pay rates vary depending on start time from £17.70PH - £26.55PH PAYE
• Monday to Friday, occasional overtime on Saturdays available
