HGV Driver (Class 2)

Pertemps Maidstone seeks a dependable HGV Driver (Class 2) for a client based in Paddock Wood. This full-time, temporary placement pays £17.50 per hour (PAYE) and operates Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 17:00, with no weekend work. The position involves handling local deliveries and collections across the region using a Category C vehicle. The Role

• As an HGV Driver, you will be responsible for operating a Class 2 / Category C vehicle for local deliveries and collections across the region.
• This role would suit an experienced LGV Class 2 Driver, Cat C Driver, or Rigid Driver who enjoys a varied role combining driving and yard-based duties.

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience as an HGV Driver, LGV Driver, or HGV Class 2 Driver
• A positive, flexible attitude and willingness to assist with yard duties
• Good knowledge of driver compliance and road transport regulations
