HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver

We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 (HGV) Refuse Driver to work within the Caenby Corner (LN8) area, supporting local waste collection services.

This is a hands on role where you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient collection of household waste, working as part of a team to keep the community clean and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• - Driving a Class 2 refuse vehicle on planned residential routes.
• Assisting loaders with the collection of household waste when required. (Not often)
  Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Ensuring all collections are completed safely and in line withregulations
  Providing a professional and courteous service to the public.

Duration: Long term, perm oppertunities.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: £13.47 p/h for first 37 hours. All hours over paid at £20.20 (Garenteed minimum of atleast 1 hour over time each week)Minimum weekly pay: £519.89Weekly Pay28 days annual leave pro-rata

Closing Date:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
• (Will take new passes)
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Previous experience in refuse driving or a similar role preferred, but not essential
• Good level of physical fitness (due to the nature of the role)
