HGV Class 2 Highway Maintainence

Overview

Interaction Recruitment in Milton Keynes are looking for HGV Class 2 drivers for a highway maintainence contract based in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have at least 1 year driving experience.

Work Hours

The job is predominantly Monday to Friday, with Saturdays and Sundays available during the peak periods, and you will need to be flexible to work some of the required weekends.

Schedule

Your average day is a start time of 07:00 and finishing around 16:30.

Job Responsibilities

The role involves driving a patching vehicle at slow speeds, while your operator fixes potholes in the road behind you. You will be able to watch the operator on a CCTV monitor from the cab of the vehicle and communicate with them via a buzzer system.

This role is solely driving and you will not be expected to carry out any of the manual work yourself.

Duration

We are looking for an ongoing driver to start Monday 13th of April, and this will be 6 weeks work.

Pay Rates

• Monday to Friday £15.50 per hour
• Saturday and Sundays £20 per hour
