HGV Class 2 DriverWe are currently recruiting an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for our client based in Paddock Wood, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional HGV Class 2 Driver looking for a long-term role with excellent pay and the potential to secure a permanent position.Location: Paddock Wood, KentPay Rate:£18.00 per hour (PAYE)Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pmNo weekend workContract: Ongoing temporary role with a temp-to-perm opportunityThe RoleAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for operating a Class 2 (Category C) vehicle carrying out local deliveries and collections across Kent and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for an experienced Class 2 Driver, HGV Driver, LGV Driver, Cat C Driver, Category C Driver, Rigid Driver, or Delivery Driver seeking regular weekday work.Alongside driving duties, the successful HGV Class 2 Driver will also support yard operations when required.HGV Class 2 Driver Duties Include:
- Local deliveries and collections (depot-to-depot)
- Driving a Class 2 / Category C vehicle
- Assisting with general yard duties during quieter periods
- Completing daily vehicle checks
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous experience as an HGV Class 2 Driver, Class 2 Driver, LGV Driver, Category C Driver, or Cat C Driver
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist with yard duties
- £18.00 per hour (PAYE)
- Monday to Friday working pattern
- No weekend work
- Ongoing, long-term work with the option of temp to perm for the right candidate
