Position: HGV Class 2 Driver

Contract: Permanent

Location: Bathgate, Scotland

Hours: Monday - Friday 42.5 hours per week

The role:

• Deliver a high standard of service to all customers.
• Follow daily transport plans and schedules.
• Comply with all current and future transport legislation.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reports via the compliance app.
• Maintain accurate tachograph and transport records.
• Safely load, unload, and secure equipment using straps, chains, and other restraints.
• Keep vehicle clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Report all incidents in line with company and legal procedures.
• Communicate with customers prior to arrival.

What will help you to excel in this role:

• Class 2 Licence, Digi Tacho Card and all up to date CPC cards.
• Good communication skills.
• Team player, personable with good customer service skills.
• Previous experience loading and unloading of access equipment would be an advantage.
