HGV Class 2 Driver - Days

For this position we are looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to work for a company based at Barlborough.

Straight Forward curtainside work, delivering and collecting to/from RDCs or business. Most are offloaded via the curtain but there is an expectation that there will be loading and unloading via the taillift.

You will be responsible for the strapping/securing of the load.

In the afternoon, there will be collections to be made for the pallet network, which simply returns to base.

Duration: These are temp to perm roles.Once permanent 11 hours per day guaranteed

Contract Type: Permanent

Hourly Rate: This position pays £15 per hour for all hours worked.We do have Umbrella options available too.WE DO NOT ACCEPT MAX20 VISA OR SPONSORSHIPS

Working Hours: Monday to Friday.Starts between 0500 and 070010-11 hours per dayMinimum 8 hours assured

• A minimum of 1 year Class 2 experience.
• Be over 23 years of age
• Have a maximum of 3 penalty points on your licence, for insurance purposes.
• Have your own transport and be able to travel to Barlborough
• Have good communication skills
• Have CPC and digi card.
• Have a good knowledge of tachograph rules
• have a great knowledge of walkaround checks, defect reporting.
• Be able to download and use the clients app. You will be shown how to use this.
