We are thrilled to announce a major contract win with Southern Water! We are recruiting for a number of Drainage Engineers to work in 2 person teams, covering the whole of Sussex. This is a fantastic opportunity to start a new career with us here at Lanes Group!

Position Details:- Role: Night HGV Class 2 Drainage Engineer
- Location: Crawley Depot, West Sussex
- Type: Permanent, full-time
- Hours: 4 Nights On / 4 Nights Off, approx. 40.25 hours/week
- Salary: £39,500 per annum

Join our Utility Division on the Southern Water contract to provide effective waste-water network and drainage solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Traveling to sites with a two-person team, operating high-pressure water jets for restoration
- Maintaining and cleaning drainage systems
- Accurately recording job reports using specialist equipment
- Running diagnostics and repairing drains
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Maintaining health and safety standards
- Managing vehicle stock levels
- Using VISTEC and Salesforce platforms
- Operating vacuum tankers and associated equipment
- Accessing sites safely and conducting risk assessments
- Liaising with clients and supporting colleagues
- Inspecting tools and equipment, reporting issues
- Performing ad-hoc tasks as needed

Candidate Requirements:The ideal candidate is hardworking, respectful, and adheres to safety standards. Experience with high-pressure jetting is a plus but not essential. Drainage qualifications such as NRSWA or Confined Spaces are advantageous. You must hold:
- A valid HGV Class 2 license
- Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
- Up-to-date digi tachograph card
