HGV Class 1 Shunter Driver - Previous Shunting Experience Required

Locations: Barrow upon Soar, LE12 8GB

Client: XPO Logistics

Contract Type: Ongoing

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Start time 5pm
• Shifts 10 hours long

Pay Rates

• £14.79 per hour
• £15.86 per hour after 13 weeks
• Holiday pay accrued on top

Role Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGV Class 1 and shunt vehicles in line with site procedures
• Complete shunting duties across customer sites
• Ensure all goods are correctly strapped before movement
• Operate modern equipment to the highest safety standards
• Collect backloads where required

What You Need to Succeed

• Valid LGV C+E Licence
• Up to date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous shunting experience is essential
• Maximum of 6 penalty points
• No DD, DR, or IN endorsements
