HGV Class 1 Driver (Temp to Perm)

Job Summary

Manpower UK seeks an HGV Class 1 Driver (Temp to Perm) in Bradford, paying up to £16.50 hourly. This temporary contract involves operating Curtainsiders and Containers across day shifts, Monday to Friday, generally 06:30 to 14:30, though routes may alter timings. Applicants need a valid Cat C+E licence, CPC and Digi-Tacho cards, ideally two years' experience, a maximum six penalty points, and no DD or DR convictions within ten years. After twelve weeks, the post converts to permanent at £35,000 annually, with 28 days' holiday and consultant support throughout.

Manpower Driving and Logistics are recruiting Class 1 (C+E) Drivers on behalf of our client in the Bradford area. You will be driving a range of Class 1 vehicles including Curtainsiders and Containers.

Work Hours

Shifts (Days) Monday - Friday 06:30am - 14:30pm (This may vary depending on route). Rate £16.50 per hour.

Ideal Candidate

• You must hold a valid Cat C+E Licence, CPC Card, Digi-Tacho Card.
• Ideally 2+ years HGV driving experience, no more than 6 points, and no DD/DR convictions in the last 10 years.
