HGV Class 1 Driver

Overview

Position: HGV Class 1 Driver - Temporary

Location: Stowmarket, Suffolk

Contract: Temporary, with potential for ongoing work

Salary: £16 - £24.25 per hour (holiday pay paid separately when booking annual leave)

Responsibilities

• Completing trunk runs to stores/RDCs
• Average shift is 10-12 hours
• Daily vehicle checks
• Maintain a professional manner when dealing with the end customer
• Ability to complete an assessment prior to work starting
• Always wear the correct PPE (safety boots and hi vis)

Start times

Days: between 04:00 and 06:00

Nights: between 14:00 and 18:00

Qualifications

• HGV Class 1 Licence
• 6 months Class 1 experience (essential) for this role
• Valid CPC
• Clean driving licence with no more than 6 points (No TT, TS, MS, DR, or DD codes)
