HGV Class 1 Driver

Rapier Employment seeks an HGV Class 1 Driver for night shifts in Nottingham. This full-time contract role pays £20.00 per hour via PAYE. You will operate box trailers on trunking routes reaching Scotland, performing bay work. Vehicles feature maple locks, anti-hijack systems, 360 cameras, and panic alarms. Candidates need a valid DBS check, plus must pass driving and theory assessments alongside drug and alcohol testing. Start times fall between 15.00 and 17.00, Monday to Friday. Weekly hours average 40 to 50, with optional weekend work available. Prior Class 1 driving experience is essential for this long-term position.

Rapier Employment are currently seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client based in the Nottingham area. Due to the high value products on the trailers, a valid DBS check must be obtained prior to commencing any assessment and work on site. Vehicles fitted with maple locks and anti-hijack system. All drivers issued with a panic alarm. 360 cameras inside the cab. Trunking runs as far as Scotland. You will need to complete a driving and theory assessment, DBS Check, and a drugs and alcohol test

START TIMES:

Monday to Friday Night Shifts: 15.00-17.00pm

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION:

YOU WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:

• Experience of Class 1 driving.
• You should have held your HGV Class 1 Licence for at least one year.
• Have at least 6 months experience driving HGV class 1 vehicles.
• "Can do" attitude.
• No DR10's No CD10's No IN10's - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS.
• Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification.
