Job Description
HGV Class 1 Driver - Didcot (Temp to Perm)

Join a well-established and nationally recognised distribution operation based in Didcot. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for stable, long-term work with the potential to move into a permanent position.

You will be working in a structured, professional environment with modern vehicles and consistent routes.

What's on offer

  • Pay rate: £19.24 / Overtime @ £28.86

  • Contract: Temp to Perm

  • Hours: Full-time, various start times available

  • Location: Didcot

Role & Responsibilities

  • Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently

  • Store and/or depot deliveries as required

  • Completing vehicle checks and defect reporting

  • Ensuring loads are secure and paperwork is completed accurately

  • Adhering to tachograph, WTD and road transport legislation

Required Skills & Experience

  • Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card

  • Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred

  • Good knowledge of UK road networks

  • Reliable, professional attitude
