HGV Class 1 Driver

MPA Recruitment are seeking an experienced and reliable Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver to join our team.

This role involves transporting goods across both northern and southern regions, ensuring safe, efficient, and timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) HGV vehicles safely and in compliance with all UK driving regulations
• Carry out deliveries and collections across the North and South
• Load and unload goods using sideload equipment where required
• Operate high-mounted cranes safely and efficiently
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
• Ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, collections, and vehicle logs
• Follow all health & safety procedures and company policies

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV licence
• Minimum 18 months proven driving experience
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Demonstrated sideload experience
• Experience operating high-level crane equipment
• Strong knowledge of UK road laws and driving regulations
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Good communication and customer service skills

• Experience with long-distance or multi-drop deliveries
