Job Description
HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Coventry
Shift: Various Shift Patterns Available. Start times between 05:00-08:00
Pay Rates:
PAYE: £20 p/h Days, £25 p/h Overtime
Umbrella: £22 p/h Days, £26 p/h Overtime
Contract: Ongoing, Long-Term Work
Igloo is currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client's busy logistics operation in Coventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable drivers to secure regular, ongoing work delivering automotive parts to major production facilities across the region.
The Role:
You will be delivering and collecting automotive part to feed the production lines
All the work is on curtain side trailers so you must be prepared to pull the curtains back and let the forklift drivers work their magic!
A lot of work is timed deliveries so time keeping is key and communicating any delays is a big part of the job
The Person:
Full UK C+E licence for 2 or more years, due to insurance reasons
No more the 6 Points for minor offenses
Hold a Drivers CPC and Digi Card
Hold an ADR Licence, a bonus but not essential
What we Offer
