HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Crick
Pay Rates: £16.06 - £21.41 per hour
Contract: Ongoing Assignment
Hours: Average shift length of around 12 hours
The Role
We are recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our client's team. This ongoing role offers competitive pay rates and consistent work within a well-established logistics operation. You will be responsible for the safe operation of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of goods and materials, while delivering excellent service across warehousing, storage, distribution, and transportation functions.
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E Licence with at least 12 months' experience
No more than 6 penalty points, with no DD or DR convictions
Valid Driver CPC (DCPC) and Digital Tacho Card
Understanding of driver's hours and Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation
Ability to complete vehicle checks, report defects, and ensure vehicle safety
Willingness to comply with on-site health and safety requirements
Strong communication skills and a professional approach
