Pertemps is proud to be working in partnership with Royal Mail, and we're currently recruiting professional HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to support operations at the Severn Beach Distribution Centre in Bristol.
This is ongoing agency work offering regular, year-round shifts - ideal for drivers who value flexibility, choice, and excellent hourly rates without being tied into a permanent contract.
About the Role- Trunking mail and parcels between Royal Mail depots nationwide
- No multi-drop deliveries
- Minimal manual handling
- Clean, modern, well-maintained vehicles

- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence (held for at least 2 years)
- Minimum 180 days' proven commercial driving experience
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 minor points (no DD, DR, IN, CD or TT endorsements)
- Good geographical knowledge and professional attitude
- Strong understanding of Drivers' Hours and WTD regulations
- Confidence completing manual tachograph entries
- Ability to pass a DBS security check
- Completion of site assessment and induction prior to first shift
