HGV 2 Driver

At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for an HGV 2 Driver to work with a leading logistics company in Leeds. You will be responsible for completing multi drop deliveries safely and on time, ensuring all vehicle checks and documentation are handled with precision while maintaining compliance with transport and health and safety regulations.

Shifts

• 5am - 5pm
• 6am - 6pm
• 7am - 7pm
• 8am - 8pm

Pay Rates

• £17.40 per hour

Required Qualifications

• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, CPC, and Digi Tacho card.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Eligibility for an airside pass, including a 5 year background check and DBS.
• Strong knowledge of driving laws, health and safety, and tachograph regulations.

Role Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle safety checks before and after shifts.
• Manage delivery paperwork and Proof of Delivery documentation.
• Follow planned routes while maintaining compliance with transport regulations.
• Operate the vehicle safely in time critical environments.
• Communicate effectively to adapt to route changes and customer requirements.
