Class 2 Driver - Technical Installation Contract

Location: Doncaster

Pay: £15.64 per hour standard, with enhanced rates up to £22.51 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday

Shift length: Usually 8-13 hours

Type: Long-term ongoing work, with potential temp-to-perm opportunity

Taskmaster are urgently recruiting Class 2 Drivers for a long-term technical installation contract based in Doncaster.

This is a great opportunity for reliable Class 2 drivers looking for consistent Monday to Friday work, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidate.

The role will include:

• Class 2 driving work
• Technical installation deliveries
• Customer-facing work
• Completing paperwork
• Learning customer locations and site requirements
• Working alongside experienced drivers during initial training shifts

Pay rates:

• Standard: £15.64 per hour
• Unsocial: £18.96 per hour
• P1: £18.29 per hour
• P2 / Bank Holiday: £22.51 per hour

Assessment:

• Paid assessment for successful candidates
• Driving assessment followed by paperwork induction
• Average assessment length around 4 hours
• Initial training/shadowing shifts available with experienced drivers

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 / Category C licence
• Valid CPC
• Valid Digi Tacho card
• Reliable and professional attitude
• Comfortable with paperwork and customer-facing work
• Previous delivery or installation experience would be an advantage
