Arriva Traincare have an exciting opportunity arise for a Heavy Maintenance Team Leader to join the team based in our Bristol depot. Contract: Permanent contract; Monday to Friday 07:00am to 15:30pm.
Duties- Implementation and maintenance of safety systems
- production efficiency and quality output
- Ensuring the compliance of teams working to VMI's, VOI's and ATC work instructions
- Liaising with Project Engineers to ensure efficient work programmes are implemented
- Work with the training department in the development of competence assessments for the team
- Maintaining compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Implementation of customer requirements
- Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering - Rail Traction & Rolling Stock preferred
- Understanding of rail vehicle maintenance
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Understanding of both mechanical and electrical engineering
- People management training
