Healthcare Centre - Senior Nurse - Oncology Midlands - Regional role

Full-time or Part-time considered Hybrid £47,000 (pro rata for part time)

Are you an experienced Oncology Nurse ready to step into a senior, leadership-focused role where you can truly shape service excellence? We are recruiting for a motivated and clinically strong Senior Nurse to join established Oncology Healthcare Centres across the Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity to combine hands on clinical expertise with strategic leadership, playing a key role in delivering safe, high-quality, patient centred oncology care.

The Role
  • Deliver expert care to patients receiving Systemic Anti Cancer Therapy (SACT)
  • Act as a clinical governance lead, ensuring compliance with regulatory and professional standards
  • Drive service improvement initiatives across Healthcare Centre sites
  • Support and mentor nursing colleagues, sharing knowledge and best practice
  • Champion excellence in SACT delivery and patient safety
  • Contribute to audits, quality assurance processes and continuous development

About You
  • Active NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
  • SACT Passport
  • Significant experience in oncology nursing
  • Strong clinical assessment and risk management skills
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or supporting colleagues
  • A solid understanding of clinical governance, audit and regulatory standards
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites
