Locum Audiology Assistant

Contract: Locum / Temporary
Pay: HSE Payscale, in line with the applicable grade and experience

We are currently seeking a Locum Audiology Assistant to join an Audiology service in County Louth.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Audiology Assistant to work within a professional healthcare environment and support the Audiology team in providing a high-quality, patient-centred service.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to Audiologists in the delivery of clinical and administrative services.
• Assist with hearing assessment clinics and audiology procedures appropriate to the role.
• Prepare patients and equipment for appointments.
• Assist with hearing aid-related duties and patient support.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Liaise professionally with patients, families, Audiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain clinical equipment and work areas to a high standard.
• Follow HSE policies, procedures and infection prevention and control requirements.
• Carry out other duties appropriate to the position.

Requirements

• A relevant qualification - QQI Level 5 is essential.
• Previous experience is required.
• Must be resident in Ireland and hold one of the following:
  • EU Passport
  • Stamp 1G
  • Stamp 2
  • Stamp 4
  • Stamp 4D
  • Stamp 5
  • Stamp 4 EUFam
• Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting.
• International Police Clearance is required if you have lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16.
