Role Overview

Role Title: Programme Manager
Location: Vhi Dublin
Grade: Band 3
Contract: Permanent

Vhi Health & Wellbeing DAC currently has a full time permanent position open for a Programme Manager. You will report to the H&W Head Strategic Development and Delivery and work closely with key stakeholders to design, develop and deliver new clinical services. You will lead programme and project teams, facilitate working groups, and collaborate with other Programme Managers to ensure overall portfolio delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Represent H&W across the group and external stakeholders; champion the H&W agenda.
  • Shape and design business programmes to deliver strategic initiatives.
  • Define programme plans, resource requirements and budgets in partnership with Finance Business Partners.
  • Manage, track, and report against programme plans to committees and groups.
  • Develop status reports and support Clinical and Operational Leads with business cases, PIDs, proposals and service design.
  • Track benefits realisation and manage risks and issues across programmes.
  • Ensure effective governance, project management and transition processes to business as usual.
  • Build relationships and communicate to secure buy in.
  • Champion H&W culture and values.
  • Lead change management within programmes and contribute to EPMO work.
  • Work across the business to enable delivery of objectives.
  • Produce board ready documents and embed disciplined project review.
  • Measure programme delivery effectiveness and adjust processes.
  • Align key developmental plans with integrated business plans.
  • Identify innovative approaches and increase agility.
  • Keep patient experience central to design and decisions.
  • Drive digitisation of member experiences from a CX and UX perspective.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8 years of programme/project management experience, with at least 4 years in a programme role.
  • Project management qualification or professional accreditation.
  • Experience producing Board/Executive ready content.
  • Experience in a clinical healthcare setting.
  • Experience in digitising health services and driving engagement and utilisation.
  • Experience in technology/digital projects and system integrations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills.
  • Excellent influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Good presentation skills and confidence to present to senior leaders.
