VacancyThe White Horse Federation is a Multi Academy Trust comprising 30 schools. We are seeking a dedicated Health and Safety Officer to support and coordinate health and safety compliance across the Trust, ensuring that all schools and central teams operate in line with current legislation and best practice.
Responsibilities- Provide expert advice on health and safety matters across the Trust.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety legislation and policies.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits and site inspections.
- Support schools with incident reporting and investigation.
- Deliver training and guidance to staff on health and safety practices.
- Maintain accurate records and produce reports for senior leadership.
- Work collaboratively with school leaders and operational teams.
- Proven experience in a health and safety role (education sector desirable).
- NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent) or willingness to work toward it.
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work autonomously across multiple sites.
