Job Description

EHS International are currently recruiting an experienced Health & Safety professional for a contract placement with one of our manufacturing clients in North Cork. This is a 2-3 day per week commitment, interim in nature, with a clearly defined scope and the support of the EHS International team throughout.

The Role

This position requires a credible, self-sufficient H&S professional who can operate effectively at management level and build genuine trust with the people doing the work on the ground. You will take ownership of the site's H&S function during an interim period - maintaining standards, leading audits and investigations, managing the risk assessment programme, and ensuring a structured handover to the incoming permanent appointment.

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years in a dedicated Health & Safety role, with experience in manufacturing, process, or production environments
• Demonstrated ability to engage and influence at all levels - from operative to senior management
• Competency in risk assessment, audit leadership, incident investigation, and HSA interaction
• Available to commit 2-3 days per week on-site in North Cork
