We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to lead and drive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) compliance across all operational and commercial areas of our Business Unit sites and plants. In this pivotal role, you will support and advance EHS initiatives, ensuring consistent progress and alignment with regulatory and company standards.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure compliance with Etex EHS standards and legislation across all BU operations.
  • Promote a Zero Harm culture and drive behavioural safety through SafeStart principles.
  • Lead EHS meetings and represent the BU in regional and international forums.
  • Support and align EHS teams to ensure consistent performance and knowledge sharing.
  • Oversee incident investigations, audits, and action tracking to drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop and deliver annual EHS plans focused on key risk areas and performance priorities.
  • Simplify and enhance EHS systems, documentation, and competencies across the BU.
  • Use data and trends to identify risks and guide resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with leadership, projects, and external bodies to embed EHS in all activities.
  • Support environmental governance and Management of Change processes.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage managers and team members across all levels.
  • Strong technical knowledge in EHS, with the ability to train, coach, and communicate effectively.
  • Experience within a similar position in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
  • Strong presence on the shopfloor, actively engaging with teams to drive EHS culture.
  • Collaborative mindset, open to sharing best practices and learning from other BU/sites/plants.
  • NEBOSH Qualified
  • Chartered IOSH membership
