In your new role:

  • Review contractor documentation including Construction Phase Plans, RAMS and temporary works proposals
  • Carry out Health & Safety compliance inspections and produce detailed site reports
  • Identify existing site hazards through site visits and support project teams with statutory compliance requirements
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary design teams to ensure Health & Safety is embedded within project planning and delivery
  • Support internal Health & Safety management systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and stakeholders across multiple concurrent projects
What you'll need to succeed:

  • Working knowledge of CDM Regulations and wider UK Health & Safety legislation
  • Experience undertaking construction site inspections and reviewing contractor documentation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities within a consultancy environment
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout NI, GB and occasionally ROI
Desirable (it would be great if you have this, but don't worry if you don't):
  • CDM Principal Designer or PSDP training/qualifications
  • HND, BSc or BEng in a relevant engineering or Health & Safety discipline
  • Membership of APS, IOSH, IIRSM or another recognised professional body
  • Experience working on infrastructure, utilities or multidisciplinary consultancy projects
