Building Staff Solutions (BSS) are seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading contractor on a pharmaceutical project in Tipperary. This is a 2-month contract role supporting site management and project teams in maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance on a live construction environment.

Previous pharmaceutical, life sciences, or regulated industry experience would be a distinct advantage.

• Promote a positive safety culture across the project.
• Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks.
• Monitor compliance with company and client health & safety procedures.
• Assist with the preparation and review of risk assessments and method statements (RAMS).
• Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses and prepare reports.
• Liaise with site management, subcontractors, and client representatives on safety matters.
• Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Irish health and safety legislation and project-specific requirements.

• Relevant Health & Safety qualification (Degree, Diploma, or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a construction health & safety role.
• Strong knowledge of Irish health and safety legislation.
• Experience on pharmaceutical, life sciences, industrial, or manufacturing projects desirable.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work independently and proactively on a busy construction site.
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification required.
• Full driving licence preferred.
