Interim Head of Transactional Finance

£65k-£70k package

Elevation Recruitment Group are working on behalf of a client to appoint anInterim Head of Transactional Financeinto a senior leadership role within a growing business.
This position will take ownership of the end-to-end transactional finance function, with responsibility for driving performance, strengthening controls and supporting effective cash management.
Key responsibilities of the Head of Transactional Finance:
- Lead, develop and manage the transactional finance team
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes
- Set and monitor team objectives, KPIs and performance standards
- Ensure robust financial controls and process consistency
- Drive continuous improvement across systems and processes
- Support cash flow and working capital management
- Oversee month-end activities relating to transactional finance
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, controls and audit requirements
- Manage escalations and resolve complex issues
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
About you:
- Proven experience in a transactional finance leadership role
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Track record of improving processes and driving efficiencies
- Hands-on, proactive and solutions-focused
