Role: Head of Sales & Strategy
Type: Permanent Salary: Up to £100,000 (DOE)
Travel: Remote working with travel to the office twice per week and occasional national travel
Location: East Midlands
We're looking for a Head of Sales & Strategy to join a growing tech business that's genuinely making a difference in healthcare. This is an exciting, brand-new role, giving you the chance to shape the future of the business and be a key part of the executive team.
This is a hybrid role, so you'll need to be within a commutable distance to the East Midlands office (or open to relocating).
You'll be the driving force behind all things sales and marketing, setting the strategy, leading the team, and making sure the business continues to grow in the right direction. Your day-to-day will include:
- Shape the annual sales and marketing plan, including budget ownership
- Lead the high-performing commercial team
- Drive growth through existing channels and new market opportunities
- Optimise CRM and sales/marketing systems
- Oversee pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting
- Work with senior leadership on significant commercial opportunities
- Build trusted relationships with senior clients
- Lead the marketing strategy
- Share market insights and funding opportunities with the business
Skills:
- 10 years' experience leading sales and marketing functions in a tech or SaaS environment
- Knowledge of NHS and public sector procurement processes
- Strong strategic planning and budget management skills
- Proven ability to build, lead, and develop commercial teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven record of growing revenue and breaking into new markets
- Hands-on experience with sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting
- Commercially minded, with a deep understanding of customer needs and market trends
- Proficiency with CRM tools
- Able to work cross-functionally with product and finance teams
