Job Description
A leading organisation in the Lift Industry is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to drive strategic growth, lead a high-performing sales team, and develop client relationships across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Sales team, driving pricing accuracy and margin improvements.
- Define and implement strategies for business development and client acquisition.
- Act as primary contact for key clients; expand current accounts and target high-value new business.
- Recruit, coach, and manage performance of sales staff against clear KPIs.
- Develop and lead marketing initiatives to grow market share and brand awareness.
- Own the tender process-pricing, submissions, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on sales targets, investment, and growth plans.
- Ensure compliance with legal and industry standards.
- Oversee client onboarding and internal handovers for seamless project transitions.
- Identify underperforming contracts and opportunities for margin growth.
- Shape CRM and sales tracking processes aligned with business needs.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven sales leadership in a technical or engineering-based environment (preferably lift industry).
- Strong track record of delivering commercial growth and complex solutions.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and people-management skills.
- Data-driven decision-maker with a strategic mindset.
- Understanding of operational handovers, sales pipeline tracking, and contract optimisation.
- Relevant technical qualifications or higher education.
- Experience with CRM implementation and strategic marketing.
