Head of Quality - Shape the Future with Alliance

Location: Peterborough (2-3 days a week with hybrid working)
Contract Type: Permanent

To support this, we're looking for a Head of Quality to lead quality excellence across engineering, design, and construction.

What you'll do

As Head of Quality, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality management across Alliance. You'll develop and implement a forward-thinking quality strategy, driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Developing and delivering a Quality Strategy that aligns with Alliance's objectives .

Leading and inspiring a team of Quality professionals to drive high standards across engineering, design, and construction.

Ensuring compliance with ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001) and regulatory requirements.

Embedding a culture of continuous improvement, using data analytics tools like PowerBI and AMS to drive performance.

Managing quality assurance, risk management, and compliance initiatives, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Working closely with SHEQ, delivery teams, and supply chain partners to maintain and enhance quality standards.

What we're looking for

Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of construction techniques, ideally within the water sector.
Experience in developing and delivering Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Proven leadership skills, with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and fostering collaboration.
Knowledge of audits, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
CSCS competence card and Lead Auditor qualification (preferred).
Strong communication skills and a passion for driving change and innovation in quality management.
