Head of QA

Head of QA - £120k to £130k- 2 days per week in London - Permanent

Please note: This role does not offer sponsorship and requires candidates to have the legal right to work in the UK. Our client is able to be flexible on office requirements if the correct candidate is not based in London.

La Fosse are excited to be retained on a genuinely transformational and global enterprise level QA leadership role; implementing strategy that will shift-left and test/futureproof quality of AI products on a vast and highly utilised B2B platform.

Therefore, you must have proven experience leading QA transformations and leading testing of AI products/technologies (as opposed to using some AI tooling for day to day testing). You will be joining a great and established senior leadership team - reporting directly into VP Engineering and CTO.

Key requirements:

• Define and evolve organisation wide quality principles and testing standards
• Assess and address gaps in the end to end quality ecosystem
• Introduce and embed contract testing where it adds the most value
• Uplift testing maturity across multiple product squads
• Define and evolve quality assurance approaches for AI powered products, establishing practical frameworks for testing non deterministic systems (e.g. LLM driven features, RAG based search, agentic workflows)
• Act as a senior partner to Engineering, Product, and Platform leadership, influencing roadmap decisions, architectural direction, and release strategy through a quality and risk lens.
