The Role

As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will be instrumental in underpinning the next phase of the business growth. This role requires a strategic, whilst involved leader to oversee Production Services, optimise workflow efficiency, and ensure exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Production Services function, ensuring seamless coordination of all jobs from initiation to completion.
• Develop and implement best in class policies, systems, and processes to enhance productivity and service delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, profitability, and service excellence.
• Foster a culture of innovation, identifying opportunities to integrate new technologies and methodologies.
• Oversee project management, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and transparent, proactive reporting.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Production Services team, nurturing talent and driving high performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across divisions to ensure optimal workflow and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience in building and managing production or operational functions within the print, packaging, or manufacturing industries.
• A demonstrable track record of a service led approach to engagement.
• Deep technical knowledge of print production processes, combined with strong commercial acumen.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to drive efficiency and profitability.
• Experience in implementing systems and process improvements, leveraging technology where appropriate.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire teams and collaborate cross functionally.
• A hands on approach, combined with a strategic mindset to support both organic growth and acquisition integration.
