The Head of Product is a senior leadership role at the heart of the company's strategic and technical direction. This role partners closely with the executive team to chart a path from core technological advantage and market insight to scalable, repeatable product offerings that can be deployed across multiple industries.

This role demands comfort with ambiguity. The ideal candidate thrives in complex, evolving environments and has the ability to chart a clear, actionable product vision from uncertainty - balancing exploratory opportunity with commercial realism and executional focus. They combine strong product instinct with rigorous thinking, and lead cross-functional collaboration across engineering, science, commercial and design.

As UnlikelyAI grows, the Head of Product will also be responsible for building and scaling a high-performing product team, hiring world-class product managers and establishing a strong product culture rooted in clarity, ownership, and impact.

• Define and evolve product vision and roadmap in close collaboration with the leadership team and others - turning ambiguity into clarity and opportunity into execution.

• Translate our proprietary technology and state-of-the-art AI techniques into user-centric product experiences that deliver real value in regulated, risk-sensitive environments.

• Identify and validate repeatable, scalable product opportunities - products that can be sold repeatably to large addressable markets without substantial internal resource per sale

• Operate as the "CEO of the product", responsible for strategic alignment, cross-functional coordination, and outcome ownership.
  

• Build, lead and mentor a world-class product team. Define hiring needs, set structure, and shape the culture of the product function.
  

• Establish robust product management practices - prioritisation, planning, validation, release, iteration, and learning.
  

• Champion continuous customer insight, feedback loops, and product analytics to drive improvement.
  

• Ensure a strong technical interface with engineering and research, supporting the translation of cutting-edge innovation into world-class, magical products.
  

• 7-10+ years in product leadership roles, with experience building products in technically complex and high-stakes or regulated domains.
  

• Proven ability to create and drive product strategy in highly ambiguous, evolving environments.
  

• Technically fluent, particularly in AI/ML fundamentals, with the ability to reason through system design choices and trade-offs.
  

• Demonstrated success in launching and scaling impactful products, ideally in enterprise or infrastructure-level AI.
  

• Skilled at bridging strategy and detail - able to zoom out to define direction and zoom in to support teams on execution.
  

• Strong leadership and people development skills, with a track record of hiring and mentoring high-performing product managers.
  

• Structured, analytical thinker with strong judgement, excellent communication skills, and a high bar for clarity and quality.
  

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias for action, an instinctive desire to think big and a commitment to building things that matter.
