About the company:

Alexander Lloyd is in partnership with one of the UK's fast growing Pensions Consultancies, with an excellent reputation in the Pensions market. We are recruiting for a Head of Pensions On-boarding to join the business on a permanent basis and be part of the exciting growth our client is enjoying. This opportunity is a hybrid position and will be aligned to any of the UK offices, operating a flexible hybrid working arrangement of 2x days a week in the office.

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Head of Pensions On-boarding to lead our clients on-boarding process and manage change across key projects. This role ensures new clients are smoothly integrated into day-to-day operations and supports strategic pension projects in line with client goals and long-term strategy.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage client on-boarding processes, ensure a smooth and efficient transition from new clients to BAU Pension Admin. Including managing large scale projects such as GMP, Pension Dashboard and De-risking activities.
  • Proactively identify potential challenges and risks during on-boarding and client changes and implement effective mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain a commercially sustainable on-boarding process.
  • Collaborate with the business development team to align on-boarding with commercial goals and client needs.
  • Manage, coach, and grow a high-performing team focused across multiple office locations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders (internal and external).

Keys skills and experience required:

  • Defined Benefits experience is essential.
  • Extensive senior leadership experience in client on-boarding and change management, ideally from within another Pensions Consultancy / TPA.
  • Strong commercial understanding with experience creating cost-effective, efficient processes.
  • Skilled in managing complex projects and delivering successful change.
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical abilities, focused on continuous improvement.
