At Great Yellow we're looking for a corporate sales leader to join our team.
About the jobGreat Yellow makes landscape regeneration investable and scalable.
We envision a future where regenerative land-use is the norm, delivering measurable environmental recovery, resilient food systems, and long-term economic value. Great Yellow exists to create a clear, practical pathway to making this future a reality.
Today, the way we use and manage land is pushing natural and economic systems to a breaking point. Fragile food supply chains, degraded ecosystems, rising climate risk and failing infrastructure are driving real and growing costs for communities and the economy.
By rethinking how we work with land and value nature, we can create landscapes that provide clean water, abundant nature, stable production, and long term security.
Great Yellow works to drive this transformation, moving beyond extractive models to unlock economic and ecological regeneration.
As Head of Natural Capital Corporate Sales, you will take a lead role in helping shape and drive Great Yellow's commercial strategy in the UK - connecting high-quality, nature-based projects with credible corporate and institutional buyers of carbon, biodiversity, and water credits.
This is a strategic commercial role suited to someone who combines deep relationship-building skills with a strong understanding of emerging natural capital markets. You will manage the full commercial cycle, from identifying and qualifying leads to structuring and closing transactions, while working closely with a senior team of market builders and capital raisers - while helping to define how Great Yellow positions itself in this rapidly evolving space.
You will work closely with senior leadership, capital raisers, and technical teams to expand Great Yellow's market presence, accelerate revenue growth, and play a key role in building the business case for investment in nature.
We're particularly interested in candidates from sectors such as SaaS, infrastructure, investment banking, or management consulting, as bringing diverse industry perspectives will help broaden the knowledge and experience within the team.
Key Responsibilities- Take ownership of developing and managing a pipeline of UK buyers across carbon, biodiversity, and water markets, including corporates, utilities, platforms, and intermediaries.
- Lead and negotiate end-to-end commercial transactions, ensuring alignment between financial, environmental, and reputational objectives.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales materials, impact reports, and presentations that communicate the value, integrity, and outcomes of Great Yellow's projects.
- Ensure robust buyer due diligence and transparent deal documentation, aligning financial and environmental objectives.
- Build and maintain a high-quality pipeline of opportunities aligned with Great Yellow's growth and impact goals.
- Partner with the senior team on deal structuring, pricing, and market development for nature-based credit sales and offtakes.
- Monitor and interpret market trends, policy shifts, and buyer insights across carbon, biodiversity, and water markets.
- Collaborate with the Capital Raising, Services, and Platform teams to align project pipeline with evolving buyer demand.
- Be a founding member of the GY revenue team, helping establish our trading systems, reporting processes, and client engagement best practices.
- Represent Great Yellow at industry events, buyer forums, and market collaborations to build visibility and credibility.
- Mentor and support junior team members as the commercial team scales, contributing to a collaborative and high-performing culture.
- 6-10 years' experience in sales, trading, or market development, ideally in carbon, sustainability, or environmental finance sectors
- Proven track record in structuring and closing complex commercial deals, preferably in early or emerging markets.
- Strong understanding of or appetite to learn the voluntary carbon, biodiversity, and water markets, and how they intersect within natural capital.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior-level buyers and partners.
- Strategic thinker with a data-informed, solutions-oriented approach to commercial decision-making.
- Entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable in a fast-moving, collaborative startup where structure is evolving and ideas shape action.
- Passion for climate, water, and nature restoration, and for building the market infrastructure that enables them.
- Our culture is built on three principles: All for the Hive (shared leadership and collaboration), Shameless Ambition (raise the bar, speak directly), and Design the Future (think big, learn by doing, own it)
- Be part of an innovative scale-up that's breaking new ground in finance and nature restoration - making landscape regeneration investable and scalable
- Engage in meaningful work with the potential to make a lasting impact on the planet
- Work alongside a passionate and diverse team in an environment that values flexibility, collaboration, autonomy, and growth
- We're big believers in flexibility - work where you do your best thinking - but we also value getting together in our office to share ideas (and tea/coffee)
