As we continue our journey toward becoming Ireland's most trusted and sustainable business, we have an exciting opportunity for a successful candidate to join our Finance team as Head of Musgrave Business Services.

Role Objective:

Management ofMusgrave Business Services(MBS) towards achieving its strategic goals and key metrics including service delivery, service management, along with the driving of continuous improvement and transformation projects.

What you'll be doing: Finance Function Management

Responsible for the development and execution of the overall MBS Strategy for Musgrave Group

Lead the service delivery of MBS activities across Musgrave and Infosys teams, delivering the following best in class services to the business: Accounts Payable, Supplier Finance, Supplier Income, General Accounting, Master Data Management, Retail Services, Indirect Procurement, VAT and Regulatory reporting

Own the Service Delivery process which governs, manages and supports the outsourced services

Responsible for leading the MBS team - talent planning, development and succession planning ensuring MBS is a development area for future finance leaders across Musgrave

Manage relationships, communicate and engage with key stakeholders in the divisions, Group Finance, stores and externally

Responsible for managing MBS budgets and investment options

Act as an MBS ambassador across the business, championing MBS, delivering better services and driving down costs for Musgrave

As a key governing stakeholder between the Finance organisation and the Finance Services Team (FST), provide input into the development of the vision for the team and govern the ways of working

Owner of key finance systems including Oracle R12 from the finance function perspective.

Drive Transformational Change across MBS services

Lead the delivery of the existing MBS Transformation roadmap in conjunction with Infosys teams

Identify and lead new continuous and transformation initiatives across MBS services, supported by relevant business cases

Act as a champion of digital finance (including AI) and embrace the drive towards automation

Seek opportunities to optimize all core finance business processes, drive process improvement and standardization and champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

Ensure knowledge of leading-edge financial solutions and processes

Finance and Accounting Operations

Accountable for overall MBS service delivery

Work with the Finance Service Delivery Manager to design / revise and implement Service Management Frameworks and ongoing Reporting and Metrics (including SLAs and KPIs)

Deliver transactional finance processing at the lowest cost and highest accuracy

Corporate Finance

Responsibility for maintaining effective internal controls across MBS processes.

Identify and manage MBS risk across areas of responsibility

Develop cyber security risks management framework for MBS in conjunction with security team

Develop Business Continuity frameworks and plans for MBS services

What we are looking for:

• A track record of delivering high quality results in a similar role
• Experience in operating in an outsourced service environment and proficient in Service Management processes
• Experience managing and developing people
• Experience leading and delivering change management programmes
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills and an ability to interact at all levels of the organisation and manage senior stakeholders
• Ability to move effectively between strategy and implementation
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to build and manage relationships e.g. with Divisional Teams, IT Teams, external service providers etc
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable management style
• Structured, organised and methodical with a deadline focus
• Ability to effectively manage a varied workload and prioritise in a dynamic and fast-moving environment
• Determined with a strong and resilient personality
