Balfour Beatty is a leading international infrastructure group, and we are proud to be part of the MEH Alliance delivering the Hinkley Point C project-one of the UK's most significant energy infrastructure programmes.

We are now seeking a Head of Mobilisation to play a critical leadership role in delivering workforce capability at scale across this complex, high profile project.

As Head of Mobilisation, you will lead the end to end mobilisation operation across the MEH Programme, ensuring the right people are available, mobilised, and deployed at the right time to support programme delivery.

This is a programme critical leadership role, driving operational excellence across mobilisation, supply pipeline management, and workforce deployment, while working closely with strategic resourcing and programme delivery teams.

What you'll be doing
  • Lead and develop a scalable mobilisation operating model to support programme growth
  • Drive operational discipline, visibility, and accountability across mobilisation activities
  • Oversee supply and pipeline management, ensuring efficient progression of resource demand
  • Coordinate mobilisation activity across partner organisations and recruitment teams
  • Manage deployment planning and workforce coordination to align with project priorities
  • Monitor mobilisation performance, identifying risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
  • Lead operational governance, reporting, and performance reviews against agreed SLAs
  • Engage and collaborate with key stakeholders across the MEH Alliance to ensure delivery focus
Who we're looking for

We're looking for a confident and experienced operational leader who thrives in a fast paced, complex environment. You will bring:

  • Proven experience in mobilisation, workforce operations, or large scale programme delivery
  • Strong leadership capability with experience managing operational teams
  • Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills
  • A structured, process driven approach with strong reporting discipline
  • Confidence to challenge, elevate, and drive accountability where required
  • The ability to operate effectively at pace while maintaining control and clarity
  • Able to obtain a security clearance
