Roamr helps companies save 30% on hotels by paying their employees to stay with friends instead.
When travelling for work, instead of staying in a hotel, travellers can stay with a friend and roamr will redistribute the hotel spend. E.g. 2 nights in NYC for a conference costing $1000 on hotels Company pays Roamr $700, saving $300. Roamr kickback $300 to the traveller and $300 to their friend hosting. It's a win-win-win.
Almost every cost-cutting measure in corporate travel is met with resentment. Roamr makes the CFO or travel manager look like a hero - the company saves money and the team earns money at the same time.
We're an early stage startup based out of Ireland and we're already garnering global attention. Backed by some of the best people in the industry we're unapologetically ambitious in building the next Irish Unicorn but we need an elite marketer to help us do that.
The Brand opportunity
Corporate travel branding hasn't changed in 30 years. The industry still talks to a briefcase-and-suit traveller who largely doesn't exist anymore. The actual workforce - millennials and Gen Z - are sharing-economy natives. No corporate travel brand speaks to them.
Roamr is one of the only cost reduction products in existence where the employer and the employee both win. The company saves 30%. The employee gets paid. There's no trade-off.
That's not just our product advantage - it's a brand story almost no company in any industry gets to tell.

TasksThe Role: Two Jobs Running in Parallel
We operate across two growth motions:
- B2B enterprise adoption across Finance, Travel, People, and Sales
- A PLG engine that drives bottom-up adoption and fuels enterprise expansion
Your role is to define the balance and sequencing between these motions, building a focused strategy that proves one while laying the foundation for the other.
The growth loop: individual tries Roamr saves their company money tells colleagues / the team opens the CFO conversation with proof of adoption and savings full company rollout. A referral mechanic accelerates this - travellers earn a cut of Roamr's revenue from colleagues they refer, for 12 months.
Content is wide open. Early tests are working, 3.9%-7%+ CTR with minimal effort. No organic engine exists yet. You will build it from scratch and scale it.
What You'll Own
- Build the marketing function from the ground up with full autonomy and ownership
- Define Roamr's brand positioning and voice, what we sound and look like at scale
- Create high-impact content across organic, editorial, and social formats that earn attention
- Drive paid acquisition across Meta, LinkedIn, and emerging channels, scaling what works through rapid experimentation
- Build the PLG motion, converting individual usage into company-wide adoption
- Develop a repeatable B2B demand generation engine from early foundations
- Amplify brand presence through trade shows, press, and existing recognition
- Hire and scale the team as channel success and priorities become clear
